‘Female Artist of the Year’, Lisa McHugh is one of the few women on the Irish country scene, and her fans just can’t get enough of her. This week, Lisa releases her new single, ‘Ireland’ taken from the spectacular album, ‘A Life That’s Good’.
As soon as it was released last October, Lisa’s album was a success. The chart-topper, included favourites, “Apple Jack”, “Hey I’m A Woman” and “Hillbilly Girl”. Her new release “Ireland” is a song which proves just how much Lisa loves her new home.
The Young Queen of Country moved to Ireland from the ‘Celtic Cousin’, Glasgow, only a few years ago, to pursue her dreams of becoming a country music star. The rising star has been capturing the hearts of the nation over the past few years since coming on to the country music scene, whilst her career is going from strength to strength.
This is a big week for Lisa, as she will also be embarking on her concert tour of NI tonight, with special guest Malachi Cush.
The new single ‘Ireland’ is on release now and available for download via iTunes.
