The Young Queen of Country, Lisa McHugh has teamed up with country superstar, Nathan Carter for her latest single ‘You Can’t Make Old Friends’, taken from her latest album, ‘Wildfire’.

The ‘Female Artist of the Year’ and Mr Carter are very close friends, and together, they have created a hit. The hit single was originally recorded by country legends Kenny Rodgers and Dolly Parton, and this pairing definitely lives up to the country legends’ high standard.

Lisa and Nathan first performed the new single together on stage at Lisa’s Weekend of Dancing in the Clanree Hotel last weekend, where Nathan was a surprise guest. Fans from up and down the country were in attendance and went crazy for the twosome – so it is expected to be a chart topper.

This beautiful duet has been taken from Lisa’s most recent album, ‘Wildfire’, which went straight into the top ten of the official Irish Country charts, and number one in the iTunes country chart for the glamorous singer.

The rising star’s career has taken off over the past year, and has been going from strength to strength since she first hit the Irish country scene just a couple of years ago, after moving to Co. Fermanagh, to concentrate on her calling – country music.

The new single, ‘You Can’t Make Old Friends’ is now on release and available via iTunes from Friday 23rd October.
